Tel Aviv Museum of Art’s International Council

  • Tel Aviv Museum of Art 27 שדרות שאול המלך תל אביב-יפו, מחוז תל אביב Israel (map)

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art's International Council is an annual celebration of influential individuals from around the world who share a passion for art and a commitment to supporting the museum's mission. The Council plays an essential role in promoting, supporting, and celebrating both local and international culture and art through its curated programming held at the museum in Tel Aviv.

The American Friends was thrilled to extend an invitation to the 2023 International Council at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. We were excited to offer a diverse program that showcased the best of Israeli art and culture.

During the event, Friends had the opportunity to tour both permanent and temporary exhibitions at the museum. Friends had the chance to meet and network with international art collectors and learn about the museum's recent activities at the Plenary Sessions, with a presentation of the annual reports given by Mayor Ron Huldai.

We were proud to celebrate the inauguration of the Eyal Ofer Building for the Arts with Alberto Giacometti: A Retrospective. This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the most significant art exhibitions of the year.

The Council included a welcome dinner by Irith Rappaport and Glen Perry, visits to the Nassima Landau Art Foundation, Bauhaus Tour, visit with artist Michal Rovner, wine tasting in Ella Valley, and an unforgettable experience at the Vertigo Dance Company Eco Art Village.

We believe that the International Council at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art is an unmissable event for anyone passionate about contemporary art, Israeli culture, and community building. We hope that you can join us for this exciting occasion.
