Join TAMAF for a special day trip to the Anni & Josef Albers Foundation, set on 70 wooded acres in Bethany, Connecticut. Members will travel together by bus from New York for an intimate exploration of the Foundation’s main buildings and artist residency sites.

Designed by architects Tim Prentice and Lo Yi Chan, the Farman Center serves as the Foundation’s office, library, art storage, and gathering place. Its creation was made possible through the restitution of Anni Albers’s family business in Berlin, transforming a history marked by loss into a remarkable site for creativity and scholarship. Today, the Foundation continues to honor the Alberses’ enduring legacy of art, design, and education.

As visits are available by appointment only, this is a unique opportunity to experience the Foundation’s spaces, learn about its history, and connect with the remarkable story of Anni and Josef Albers.
